Harmony is a stunning, elegant, 2001
buckskin mare who came to us from New York
in October 2004. She is by the wonderful cremello
stallion, Amberfields Desperado out of a lovely bay mare,
AR Willowbrook Melody. With her ability for
extreme extension at the trot, Harmony will be
perfect for sport pony hunter pleasure or dressage. |

October 21st, 2004
Harmonys arrival to GA. She arrived on a
rainy, gloomy day, but settled in
well! She is a beautiful, well balanced filly
and I was very pleased with her. I had bought her
from pictures only over the internet. |

December 7th '04.
Working with Harmony is a joy. She is so sensible and smart!
I worked on de-spooking her but nothing seemed to bother her.
The great big black plastic tarp didn't bother her at all.

Here is a picture from August 6, 2005. At 4 years old,
Harmony is maturing into a wonderfully sweet mare.
She has
been saddled, bridled, and ground driven and
has done all without
flicking an ear! Nothing seems to
bother her, her disposition
is quiet and willing. I call
her my "Luv-bug", she is such a
sweetie! |

Harmony's 4th ride today,
September 15 2005. She is just so good, calm, easy going.

Sept 19, 2005, Harmony's training is coming
along, rode
her for the 6th time after lunging in the arena & over
caveletti. She remains calm and sensible, we worked
on just
walk-whoa transitions today. |

Harmony's 8th ride, rode out in the arena, just walked around.
She is so pokey, needs lots of encouragement to go forward, thus the
dressage whip. |

And a year later...Harmony at her first show! She did very
well, considering this was her first time off the farm since her
arrival 2 years ago, that gloomy day in October '04. I was
absolutely bursting with grins at how well she did at the local
show. She didn't place (except in the Senior walk-trot class,
which we were the only riders), but in my opinion, got first in
every class. We just did the walk-trot classes but she was so
responsive, and non-spooky, not a silly bone in her body. We have a
lot to work on, but she is certainly headed in the right direction.
She made me proud today!Below are some thumbnails of the show,
and at the top of this page is another picture from today.
